Dairy is another vital part of human diets. Calcium comes from dairy and it helps heal and protect our teeth and bones. While its important to get your daily dose of dairy, its also very important to be picky about what type of dairy you are consuming.
- eat nonfat greek yogurt (add berries to turn it into a sweet treat)
- replace sour cream with nonfat greek yogurt
- drink low-fat milk
- use packaged milk flavoring (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla)
- consume full-fat dairy products (cheese, milk, yogurt, etc.)
