Victorious Veggies

As we all know, vegetables are a very important part of our diet. However, some vegetables, (starchy ones in particular) are not good for diabetics. In order to stay as healthy as possible, it is important for people with Type 2 Diabetes to know what types of vegetables are good for them, and which are bad.

DO…

  • cover half of your plate with veggies
  • eat greens
  • eat broccoli
  • eat asparagus
  • eat carrots

DO NOT…

  • eat corn
  • eat potatoes
  • eat peas
  • eat other starchy vegetables
