Nutritional Plans

Nutritional plans are very helpful, especially for new diabetics. They help remind us that we can’t just eat whatever is in sight. You can create your own nutritional plan, work on one with your nutritionist, or even find one on online. I have recently started following a 5-week plan from http://www.prevention.com. Once you start a plan, it becomes easy to follow. I have included a sample of a nutrition plan below.

 

 

 

Each day, you plan out what you will eat and when you will eat it. While planning your nutritional plan, make sure you keep in mind the amount of calories, carbohydrates, and sugars you are eating. Once you come up with a nutritional plan, it is IMPERATIVE that you stick to it. You cannot cheat yourself out of a healthy lifestyle. Remember, BEATING DIABETES requires dedication, determination, and drive.
