A nutritionist helps you plan out meals and educates you on what you are putting into your body.

Nutritionists consider your personal likes, dislikes, and medications in order to keep healthy blood glucose levels, blood pressure, blood lipids, and stay at a healthy weight. They discuss and teach you about your food portions, types of foods, and cooking styles. They help change what and how much you eat in order to keep you as healthy as possible. Nutritionists teach you how to monitor food intake and work with you to create a personalized food plan. You can think of nutritionists as food “police” for threats (high glucose levels).
